Bio
Matt coaches our Adult and Teen Judo Classes. Matt began Judo in 1996 as a USL student under coach Connie Lavergne. After his first day in Judo he was hooked! 20+ years later he is highest level coach in Louisiana, a Yodan (4th degree Black Belt) and Internationally recognized. Judo has been a driving force in his life and has helped mold him into the person he is today. Matt’s goal is to continue to pass on his knowledge of Judo to help people both young and old reach their full potential
